Volvo report sales drop 131

The Construction Equipment arm of Volvo have just revealed a 29% drop in sales figures for the last three months of 2008. They are blaming the drop in demand for construction equipment in general on the sales slump.

Volvo Construction Equipment have no cut production in all of their factories, this has sadly resulted in 3,400 employees being left jobless. Paradoxically sales for 2008 compared to 2007 were up 5%, however the fourth quarter of the year saw the major drop.
