MEWP

Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWP) have many uses and have proved invaluable for those looking to obtain access in a speedy and effective way.  Signage, building renovations, CCTV access, lighting and festive decorations, tree work and high cleaning – these are just some of the uses for MEWPs. If you hire a self-drive MEWP you will find that most are drivable on a standard driving licence and you can start the job immediately without waiting about on site for plant to arrive.  You can also be in control of when the machine is returned so that you can keep costs down and be flexible. However, if you need one of the larger MEWPs with 26m platforms, then you will need a 7.5 tonne licence and may need to opt to have a qualified operator bring the machine to site. Surveying, photography, aerial and satellite dish installation and repair on taller buildings are just some of the many ways you can use an MEWP. So if you think you might need scaffolding, you might like to think again and hire an MEWP.
