Description:
Cosham Plant Hire was founded by Mick and Nora Gaffney at Ascot in 1973. Over the years they have built the business up from a one man operation to one of the largest businesses of its type in the south.

The Portsmouth depot is conveniently close to the M27 Motorway. The half acre site holds a vast range of plant and machinery, with continual re - investment in new equipment. From this depot we can cover an area from Bournemouth in the west, Reading in the north and Brighton in the east. Whenever possible the plant is delivered where and when it is needed in order to avoid costly hold ups.

Clair, Mick’s daughter, has now joined in the running of the company with her husband Louis. The company is set to continue and expand on its previous success.

Cosham Plant Hire's own team of fitters carry out all its maintenance, both at the company’s premises and on site. All equipment is supplied in prime condition and there is a full emergency on - site breakdown service.

Cosham Plant Hire's experienced and skilled operators, some of which have been with the company for over 25 years, are very safety conscious and careful to ensure safe working practices are adhered to. We will be pleased to pay a site visit to advise on the best tool for the task and best method of undertaking it.
